Maybe mines a dud, but its not bright and has a yellowish beam output. Its my least favorite flashlight, however the physical makeup of the light I do like, not the output. It gets dwarfed by Sofirn SC18's output.

So you're saying two wrongs make a right? Or is it only when you can personally benefit from it? I'm failing to see where your moral high ground is within your little quippy musing....
My moral high ground is that I pay my taxes. Unlike many companies both foreign and domestic. Do you go on Amazon threads and post comments like "Another tax dodging company"? Or only the foreign ones? Gee I wonder why that is.

Not really, they are two quite different lights that, unless you are a one-only flashlight person, don't compete. Awesome deal on the SC33 though.
That's true, they are v different! I figured the SD folks aren't the typical enthusiasts and just want the most lumens for the price. Can't go wrong with either, or both!

Only ones that openly proclaim that they are tax dodgers. Their exact words: "US warehouse No Tax". Can't get much clearer than that! So where's your moral outrage at them, or do you give them a free pass simply because they're "foreign"?
All they did was order enough to stock up their US-based warehouses before tariffs hit. Most US companies did the same. It's called being smart and strategic, not tax dodging.

Sorry, that's not my interpenetration. Literally says "no tax" in their product title, and when I enter their check out, I do not get charged tax after putting in my address. Nice try justifying their behavior though!

Glad you think dodging taxes is "smart and strategic", clearly shows what you value. I'm glad you are able to pull one over on your fellow citizens by ripping them off, making them carry your burden. How shrewd and savvy!

What color temperature did you order? The 4000K will be a warmer (yellowish) and typically not as bright.

To be clear, there are plenty of cases where it's perfectly legal for the seller not to charge sales tax. But in those cases, the buyer is legally obligated to pay use tax instead. Compliance from buyers is very low though.

You might be on the wrong forums. You'll also notice the US prices are higher as they factor in those "hidden" tariffs that you voted for, my dear. Right, tariffs aren't a tax, I forgot. Silly me.

Great flashlight, I own one, my only complaint is the charging port cover feels exactly the same as the button if you trying to turn it on by feel only.
I fixed this by lining up my pocket clip with the power button. That way I can just follow the clip forward with my finger to find the power. Great light! I got it in orange so I can more easily find it if I drop it. This is my favorite "go out to the garage at night" flashlight.
