The frame is study, lenses are polarized. I can't complaint for what I paid given that I needed to return a pair of Rayban to Ashford ($70) due to the fact that they were very filmsy and looked fake.

Given one can make any claim on the internet it doesn't have to be accurate all the time especially if their base of operations is outside certain areas (like China) that may not require to adhere to othr countries legal codes.
