I recommend checking your local Walmarts. I bought one a few weeks ago for $52.

Will this mouse develop any double clicking? I have the Logitech G604 but need to replace it since sometimes it detects double clicks. I just bought their razor viper pro but it's too small for my hand, I'm so used to the Logitech better hand ergonomics.

I wish it was that easy our local Walmarts in the electronic section where you pay behind their cash register, they have a caged shelf with a lot of electronics on clearance. I crossed close to their register to check what items they had and a lady got mad saying that I couldn't cross, because those items were counted on their system inventory for. I was thinking to myself "how do they expect to sell those items if they don't even show them" so maybe the employees keep them there hidden so once it go lowered they can purchase (if clearance item don't sell they keep getting cheaper). I was able to see a ps5 pulse elite for $80 so told her I wanted to buy (could see some items from distance) it she looked mad

You'd be mad if you worked at Walmart, too.

And take it on someone who actually want to buy stufff? I genuinely wanted to look to see what I could buy, honestly why work at a job if that person really hate it there?

I hate wires, would this be an upgrade or downgrade if I'm coming from the Basilisk V2 wired?

I play shooter games and there's always that latency talk when it comes to wired devices.

It will not. It uses optical switches, which are not prone to the double-clicking issue.

I have had a V2 for a number of years with no issues.

You could replace the switches. I used Kailh GM 8.0 switches in mine.

while the optical switches on the modern razer mouses won't double-click, the rubber side grips will wear out and look/feel terrible.

get some grip tape, if you must.
