Ngl, I would much rather have this portable and quieter backup than a loud gas generator.

I would too, until it runs out. A generator can basically run for days or weeks even, unless you have a great solar setup and plenty of sun this is going to run out. This thing looks really nice though, better than most IMO.

Yeah, that's the thing. A prolonged blackout is gonna require a gas/propane generator instead as a backup. I have multiple 3kwh battery backups and 2 gas generators on my property. I was thinking of getting this , since I love Anker products, but for this price I could also easily get a 10k watt gas inverter generator instead.

Yeah but I rather have a battery running overnight. I have a 5kw setup that solar keeps up with on critical loads. On cloudy days I can charge with my genny or either of my cars.
