Why on earth would you make a 12v sds drill? Even 18v/20v barely gets it done. You need corded for heavy duty work.

Na they're ok for installing new wiring-whip+knock outs for new condensing units. I agree though any heavy duty concrete needs to be corded sds max, I have a flex sds + 1" which is about as good of a cordless Ive used. The m12 n these little 12volts are good untill about 3/8 or 1/2 anything bigger and you need a real sds+

Anything you would use this for you could probably just as easily use a normal drill with the hammer drill function and save yourself the space and weight.

Wish Dewalt would expand the 12v line with more tools similar to the m12 line.

$107 in NorCal. It won't work with your 20v or 60v batteries. Wait for the sale on the more powerful 20v version that adds a 3rd mode concrete chipping.

For 99% of what I do the 18v sds does it and does it fast. I own a corded one and haven't used it in years. "heavy duty work" isn't for a sds plus thats when you use a sds max. I have cordless Hilti versions of both along with a cordless jack hammer. They're all literally perfect for my needs as a electrical contractor

I use dewalt 12v impact for lug nuts. They are more powerful than people think.
