You were arguing over natural, not healthy. Those are two different concepts.

Technically Palm oil is natural, its mechanically removed from the palm tree and doesn't require synthetic chemicals.

All natural doesn't just mean peanuts and nothing else. It needs a bit of sugar and oil for taste and stir-abiliity.

the peanut butter from fresh market is just peanuts and stirs fine and no sugar. Trust me from a fat guy trying to lose weight and changing my lifestyle there is a small difference from sugar and any other additive drug. Sugar WILL KILL YOU! Not today not tomorrow but it will shorten your life for sure. The main item known to cause Alzheimer's disease is sugar. That is why the new glp 1 are being studied to reduce risk to Alzheimer's. Sugar is one of the worst things for your body.

Palm oil is roughly 50% saturated fat, which can raise LDL cholesterol and potentially increase the risk of heart disease. Straight from wiki

Lots of downvotes on the comments here. Palm oil is a waste product. Peanut oil is valuable. They separate the peanut oil and replace it with palm oil. I'm no MAHA red hat seed oil hater, but yeah palm oil is bad for you.

Marketing has done a good job selling this garbage as "natural" for the technicalities posted above, but that's still misleading as hell. This is just regular ass peanut butter with an attractive word added.

The palm oil in this is just gross. We typically buy Costco's peanut butter which has two ingredients - peanuts and salt. The added sugar and palm oil in this makes it a no-go for me. I have no problem stirring the peanut butter if it means leaving unnecessary ingredients out. It's a one-time thing for the whole tub if you leave the PB in the fridge after opening it.

The downvotes are probably because no one asked for the health fanatics to come in here and crap on the product that, to be honest, is far more popular than just liquid peanuts. Why can't people who aren't interested in a product just move on? Fact is, if people wanted to eat liquid peanuts, they'd be doing it already. Some random on SD's certainly isn't going to change my mind.

And Sam's Club Natural no-stir is cheaper than this also ($7.98 for 2-pack 40oz).

I try to exercise but unfortunately as the CEO of a large company a lot of my time is on a plane, in meetings, and yes I did moderation. some people have a higher metabolism. I even have a stand up desk with a walking pad under it. when I am not on camera I am walking while I am at my desk. it is way easier to put on weight than to take it off.

The point is that it's misleading advertisement.
