People don't seem to understand that corn syrup just tastes like crap (except one of them pecan pie for some reason). Do the test. Put some corn syrup and water in one glass and some sugar and water in another glass. Instead of a wine tasting do a sugar tasting. You'll find that the corn syrup just taste sad, and tastes other-worldly in a bad way. Your heart just feels a little unhealthy. The sugar one will be nice and sweet and delicious. It's still really bad for you. But if I'm gonna have something that's bad for me it's not gonna be corn syrup.
High fructose corn syrup is incredibly bad for you . It's mutant and the body doesn't even metabolize it down the same channels as normal sweeteners. The body processes it to completely alien way. That's why they had so many ads saying all sugars are the same.
I load up when Kroger/Smith's/Ralph's has it for a $1 a bottle!!
