Says 100W but the max output of two of the USB-C ports is 20W and the third is 25W. The USB-A ports output 12W max, each.

I secretly wish that. But I'm saying it publicly.
Now it's a public secret.

The 100W is the combined. 20W+20W+25W+(3x12W) = 101W. They all do that trick of just adding up the max of each port and you gotta read the details on how much total W can be output simultaneously to multiple devices. There are others in the $18-25 range I see that have a full 100W USB-C for a laptop and a couple others for lower powered devices.

is this really switch compatible? i don't think it will work with anything less than 35W, and least not with the dock.

Looking at the total 7 port output picture, it isn't that great. Single USA-A is max at 20 watt, but if you fill all 3 USB-A, it saids "Total QC20w." I take it is that 20 watt is split between 3 of the USB-A ports. Am I wrong? If i am right then it suck.

Super skeptical about these. I have some Insignia ones and they are heavy and they are beasts and they were not cheap.

Honestly, when was the last time you heard of a fire started by a non-certified charger? Can you cite such an occurrence? I watch 5 hours of news daily and read the NY Times, and I've never heard any such incident. My main charger is non-certified and despite using it 4-6 times a week for two years, my homes haven't burned down.

No, it's 20 watts for EACH 3 x USB-A and 2 x USB-C, totaling 100 watts. The rightmost 2 x USB-C SHARE 65 watts. That's 165 watts total.

Also consider this one. I've had it for a year and I've been happy with it. The output total is 140 watts but what sets it apart is that there are 2 x AC outlets using a grounded plug for extra protection. And I love the flat wall plug. The description also claims surge protection but I see nothing on the unit, manual or box mentioning surge protection. One reviewer says that he contacted the company, who confirmed the it has surge protection and gave him the specs. This was my first charger with 65 watt output and it's amazing. My Samsung phone with 5000mAh battery charged fully in 30-40 mins. It's very satisfying to see the phone say, "Super Fast Charging" when I was used to 20 watts "Fast Charging."

It's currently 30% off and has 4.7 stars.

I don't understand the objection. The output are (A)12w + (A)12w + (A)12w + (C)20w + (C)20w + (C)25w = 101 watt total. The company rounded down to 100 watts.
