I am seeing $435 if you go San Jose -> LA -> HNL. Pretty solid. Not worth the extra time for me, but solid none the less.

I just flew with them and they are terrible when things get messed up. They changed equipment a few days ahead of time but didn't let us know until the day before when it was practically worthless to cancel and were amazingly unhelpful to get the seats sorted out as they placed us all over the plane even though we had comfort plus. At the very least United and Delta will toss you a bone when things don't work out.

I was hoping this was for Hawaiian Airlines 1st. I understand they have lie-flat seats on some planes and a true 1st class experience. I've never flown domestic 1st on Alaska but it we're just talking a wider seat and a couple free drinks then, yeah, it's not a bad deal but not scrambling to book a flight.

Yes, first on Alaska is only a larger, more plush seat, better food and drinks. These are short haul planes. Hawaiian 787-9 Dreamliner flights are lie-flats.

operated by hawaiian airlines but not a dreamliner. most of the flights are airbus 330 but i see a couple of flights on the dreamliner, with suites (as opposed to lie-flat). i can't remember the date i saw it for but it was the return trip HNL-LAX.

Deals for hotels or resorts? I've never been but this deal is so good. Strongly considering it. It's about the same price out of Seattle.

Shoot, I already have booked flights on included dates but I fly out of SLC (which is also a direct flight) for the same price but in economy.

Just checked and 1st class is $379 each way. I'm changing my booking!

How is this possible? Don't planes only have like 6 first class seats?
