This might be the lowest price I've seen for this recently released Garmin with indefinite battery life.

MSRP is $450
Amazon.com has it priced at $400
You can get 10% back using your Amazon card

Effective price of $360 plus tax

If you have an Instinct 2X the equivalent Instinct 3 50mm is a minimal upgrade basically adding nap detection, sleep coach, SatIQ, stronger solar charging, more onboard memory, and a bit more responsive. The upgrade from the Instinct 2 is larger. I saw one reddit reviewer claiming the flashlight is a bit dimmer than the 2X version.

Personally I would be more interested if it was $360 without the need for an Amazon card, which is where I originally picked up the 2X. I'll wait for a stronger sale period.

"...a stronger sale period"? Why can't you just say, "Black Friday" like everyone else?

Black Friday isn't what it used to be and we have other events like Prime day. There are several opportunities for better prices.
