Amazon listing says it has a case and and several of the review photos show the case.

100% agree. Was going to walk in to thumbs down the post since you can get a "decent" multimeter at Harbor Freight for $20 not on their monthly sales (so maybe $15 on sale?).

Definitely put Klein in the title, OP. Good deal!

An AC mechanic I had out forgot the Klein pen tester voltage finder. I use it more then I care to admit - perfect to make sure you turned off the right breaker!

Maybe Klein brand, but in todays age a non-auto ranging multimeter is behind the times.

Auto-ranging is a personal preference thing, and I happen to hate it. I practically always know the range that I'm looking for and it's easy to set the dial accordingly on ones like this. On my Klein auto-ranger, I have to turn the dial to the mode anyways so it's not like I'm saving a step and then I have to squint to read the little nano, micro, milli, etc. indicators to make sure that the number shown is in the proper range.

the target audience buying a kit like this at home depot are not the people who need an auto-ranging multimeter. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Can you turn off the auto ranging?
I think one with capacitance would go a long way instead of auto range when it comes to multimeters, so I would go for MM420 instead of this bundle.
With bundles, i would much rather have something that can help me detect brakers

Check the included batteries. Mine came with really cheap no-name batteries that started leaking after a year. Tester itself works fine but annoyed it was almost destroyed by cost-cutting.

This is the same set that is on clearance at Lowe's for $47…if you can find it. Solid set, and well worth $50.

Good point, and the reason I dispose of no name batteries and go to my Eneloops.

Never in my life did I need to measure capacitance. Until the other day when my Edifier speakers had a blinking LED and wouldn't work. Found out I probably would need to change a capacitor or two and only one of my really old multimeters can measure capacitance and that wouldn't work. So now I'm looking for a good deal on a quality multimeter which also happens to measure capacitance.
