It comes seasoned. Later if you have to reseason it it is just a high smoke point oil cooked into the metal that creates the seasoning. Look up some YouTube videos for quick and easy proper advice.

28 for me as well but i already have this and it is a great little griddle. I have a few Victoria cast iron pieces and they are all really nice.
