Honestly, a pretty good deal. I like this better than the HP ones I was seeing this weekend. This is close to what I spent on my 3080 alienware back in 2020.

Although the Arrow Lake CPUs have lackluster gaming performance compared with the previous gen, they are still solid performers with good power efficiency.

You got ripped off in 2020 if you spent over 2k for a complete with a 3080
Rtx 3080 was released in third quarter of 2020, everyone was getting ripped off tbh. I bet he felt lucky just to have one and besides that release had a good improvement over the rtx 2k series.

Haha exactly. It was pretty much the only way to get a 3080 at the time (launch) and considering where 3080 prices ended up by early 2021, I definitely felt lucky! Overall, it's still chugging along just fine 4 years later. I had planned on swapping it out this year, but the 50 series just wasn't enough of an uplift to justify it.

I got mine in Q4 of 2020 for about 1900, but I fished for this deal for a while.

The pricing in 2020 was a big bad, covid was active and people needed computers and things to do isolated.

This is a fairly crappy PC around a 5080, basically. The CPUs they put in these are pretty weak (265F). The upgrades are expensive (for everything). None of the CPU options are good. I'd recommend:
- Cutting storage back to 1TB. The upgrades are too expensive
- Cut the RAM back to 16GB and buy aftermarket. The 64GB is 5200MT/s. That's a $140 RAM kit
All in all, comes to like $2100 plus tax minus coupon. Still pretty good.

I just upped the CPU to ultra 9 285k, dropped to 1Tb dropped to 16gb(ill upgrade to 64gb with crucial for $150) got it for $2450 + 150 ram.

Would agree about the storage. Meh about the RAM, improving latency and speed on Intel processors isn't as critical and if someone is that hardcore about gaming they would just get the 3D cache AMD processors and skip Intel entirely. But yes DIY'ing the memory upgrade is cheaper.

As stated, Intel isn't great for gaming but this isn't bad in terms of Intel options. Serious gamers should just avoid this entirely but someone looking for productivity this isn't a bad deal.

No shot are you selling a $259 msrp monitor for $200. If you're very lucky and it's actually a quality monitor, you *might* get 150. But I would bet you get either 100 or 120 for it.
