Thanks for this point. I've noticed many products purchased on Amazon are lower quality than ones from for example Sam's Club or Costco. Since the price here is the same as in those wholesale clubs ($1/ounce), I would avoid this deal.

I've bought Sensodyne Toothpaste from Amazon once and never again. It was a different color that that from the local store.

I read the reviews afterwards and others reported similar issues.

I noticed that too. But it was only the beginning of the tube that came out. After that, it was a slightly different color. I wonder if they are old tubes or what.

Same. It was a completely different texture with a yellowish tint. Promptly returned and never again bought from Amazon. I think there are so many sellers for these products, some of them are not authentic.

Personally, I've never noticed anything off. But if it's being sold by Amazon directly, it shouldn't have problems. Unless you're purchasing from a third party store or seller...

Amazon commingles inventory with same barcode. So fake items can and are sold even if sold directly from Amazon.

Notice the screw on cap.. These caps allow toothpaste to come out within the cap and outside the cap, wasting expensive toothpaste. I've been using this brand for several years but since their cap change I strongly do not recommend this brand.

Amazon tends to ship from closest wearhouse regardless of which seller provided the inventory or which seller you are buying from.So, it can be 3rd party supplied product even direct from Amazon.


This is also why you see so much seller feedback removed with the message that Amazon fulfilled the order and takes full responsibility.
