Thanks for the reminder. I had forgotten that my Walmart+ membership renews in a few days at the $98 rate. Found this $49 renewal offer on my account when I went to cancel the subscription.

Mine expires in 3 days, and I had already cancelled the renewal a while back, hoping that this deal would post again. The offer doesn't show up in my account though, so I tried to reactivate the subscription and then cancel again to see if the $49 deal was offered, no dice. Ah well, will bookmark this to remind me to try again after my membership has officially expired.

Free delivery or drive-up pick-up from a local Walmart store on orders of $35+ is the main appeal for many. There are also exclusive deals and Paramount+ with ads included if that sounds good.

As far as I'm aware, you have to pay a delivery fee if you are not a member. So if you get groceries delivered then it would be worth it to not pay all those fees.

There are other perks like auto care. You have a tire warranty as long as you are a member. There's a Burger King perk. Paramount+ for free. And occasional offers, as well as early shopper deals.

A lot of items are one day delivery, or early the next day. Free delivery without minimum for items shipped (as opposed to "delivered" which means they come directly from your local store) plus you can return most items by having them pick them up at your house rather than package them, put a label on them and drop them off someplace. I wouldn't pay $98 for it since I also have Prime, but at $49 I would recommend it.

The grocery delivery suggests a tip when placing order and gives you suggestion to after completion, it's not required, but of course is nice to do, also like the post delivery thing it's easy to tell who took care with delivery and who threw everything at your doorstep. A tip is a reward for good service….

I'd say $50 would be good if it also included a Sam's Club membership (def not $98). I enjoy the scan and go, rewards system, paramount+(sometimes X months with Showtime), free shipping with no minimum (most of the time as some items are limited), 10 cents off gas at a few different gas stations and even though I don't use the BK perk it's nice to have the option.

You can get gas at Sam's Club but you don't get a discount.

They also offer perks for travel, pet insurance, tire and prescription meds

I canceled mine already, hoping to get a "but wait! How about $49 for the next year?". Yeah, that didn't happen, but my exp date is 7/6, so hopefully I'll be able to take advantage of this offer next Monday.

And here's the kicker, the prices for grocery are like in store. You won't get the in store clearance prices for online but you will get regular prices. They are not inflated like costco, instacart. So couple of dollars as tip for grocery if still worth it when you get it delivered at home.

And non perishable items usually get shipped via fedex Ups or sometime next day via store without an option to tip.
