Fairlife shakes are absolutely amazing. I'm like you, I normally go for whatever is on sale at Costco, but every protein shake I've ever had tastes like medicine. These Core Power shakes are the only ones that don't taste like medicine - they taste, literally, like Dairy Queen. seriously, try it out if you haven't already done so. you'll never buy any other protein shakes again.

You can also get the Fairlife from Sam's around $22.98 for a 12pk and 30g. Nurri brand same thing but for $19.98. So cost to protein ratio is going to be much better. But if you like Core, go for it

Genuinely curious but what makes people so loyal to Fairlife/Core Power protein shakes? I usually just get whatever 30g is on sale at Costco, I like Premier and Orgain. Nurri tastes watery to me and I don't understand the hype. Fairlife seems to be the most expensive option, is there a reason?

It tastes like normal choccy milk.

Costco premier protein is 5.6 cents per g of protein, which is still cheaper than this deal and also the elite 42g protein

Problem is, it tastes like ass

these drinks saw such a huge rise over the years.

I sell em at the c-store i work at part time. The core powers are $4 to 5. The Core Power elites are like $6 and change a pop.

Its crazy.

If Fairlife tastes so much better that you're willing to pay 44 more cents per dollar, then go for it

5g sugar a bottle + equivalent whey powder is about 50c. no clue why these are so popular. they taste alright but not amazing.

Fairlife is the only premade protein shake I've found that tastes good. Others don't necessarily taste bad, but they always taste somewhat chemically, chalky, or artificial somehow. This just tastes like chocolate milk

That said, I don't drink protein for the taste. So I'll generally get whatever is cheapest, as long as it's from a halfway reputable brand. But I do like to pick up Fairlife occasionally when it's on sale.

You don't understand that people pay more for convenience? Have you never gone out to eat?

I find these far less convenient because of the amount of trash they generate at my house. + the damn shipping box itself

Fairlife Core Power used to seem amazing to me too until I learned more about the ingredients in them. They are ok for a quick protein snack once in awhile. If one really values their health though, it would be a better idea to make your own protein shake with better and less ingredients.
Yeah, these are tasty, probably some of the tastier protein drinks. But holy hell is it schizophrenic re sweeteners. It's like, pick one my dudes, vs...
  • Sugar (admittedly naturally occurring from the milk)
  • Monk fruit (er, sure, okay)
  • Stevia (um, okay)
  • Ace-K (er, not so good)
  • Sucralose (come on now!)

Ace-K and sucralose aren't gonna outright kill ya, but... the jury is still legitimately out re how much is harmless vs. potentially worrisome vs. outright unhealthy.

Full ingredient list:
INGREDIENTS: FILTERED LOW FAT GRADE A MILK, ALKALIZED COCOA POWDER, CONTAINS LESS THAN 1% OF: NATURAL FLAVORS, MONK FRUIT JUICE CONCENTRATE, STEVIA LEAF EXTRACT, CARRAGEENAN, CELLULOSE GEL, CELLULOSE GUM, MALTODEXTRIN, ACESULFAME POTASSIUM, SUCRALOSE, LACTASE ENZYME, VITAMIN A PALMITATE, VITAMIN D3.

I see that these are 14oz than the usual 11oz that you'd find with other brands but I'm curious why this deal at this pricepoint is as popular as it is?

It tastes way better than those you mentioned. I'd buy premier but orgain is gross.

Nurri has Sucralose (known to actually STIMULATE appetite) I stupidly bought before knowing that!
