Not a fan of a permanent 2 compartment fridge. It really limits you to dimensions of the groceries that you can put it there. Things such as bar cake or Costco size ice cream doesn't fit unless you are willing to take it out of the box.
Just a thing to keep in mind

This one is about the same size, over $20 CHEAPER, and single compartment. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F82V4...F0aWM&th=1

Unfortunately that model is a not a dual zone model like the one OP listed. Ideally for a dual zone 12v fridge you want that has a removable divider so you have the option to do refrigertor and freezer mode, all refrigerator mode, all freezer mode. This gives much more freedom.
Here is an example of dual zone fridge with removable divider
This doesn't have the battery option but I am only using this example to highlight the benefit of a dual zone with removable divider option should one need a dual zone fridge.

You can also do this with a regular $40 cooler and a few ice blocks. We do it all the time. Since in this scenario you're not opening and closing the lid a bunch everything maintains temp for quite a while, plenty long enough to run your extra errands and sit in a hot car for hours even.

That is exactly why I just bought one! But I got a bigger cheaper one, this one is nicer with dual zones but for this usage a single space would be better.

I have this unit and lasted me only a couple years. Electronics went fritz and it stopped working. Disappointing. I have another by a different manufacturer still running years after years....Alpicool is the brand that I've found to be more reliable.

Nice! I wish they still had stock. The simpler dual zones without a real dedicated space I've read have horrible temp control.

I've got two electric coolers. For a dual zone I really like this one:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CB15J...tle_1&th=1

It has a removable divider, so fridge only, freezer only or both.

People who have car fridges. How do you pack around them? We would love one for road trips. But we bring a lot of clothes, etc. and leave with a lot of souvenirs. Hah. It seems like that wouldn't work for us then?

I would not trust a single physical zone for temp control in 2 zones in a small space.

But I also didn't want two physical zones to cut my usable space for large items.

Probably the #1 use for this for me is those big grocery runs, instead of having to run home because of frozen food, I can do things in the logical order based on location and traffic not be at mercy for defrost times.

So it is going to be permanently installed in my wifes SUV connected to a solar power station and powered by solar on the roof and an alternator charger.
