lugs are $1/each. You need +6 extra lugs $6. put them on the ground or get a 2x4 and cut it to make 4 legs and put some plywood on them to make a table. $15. no additional breaker needed between 12v batteries. Total additional cost $21. Savings $400+ . I got a 7 night vacation on the beach for $650.
this obviously coming from an individual who has no understanding of the difference between using 4 12v batteries in an open loop series vs. a closed loop 48v bms regulated comm's enabled rack battery. Anyone who needs to ask and probably those who don't, far better served with the rack battery. this is for certain actually.

true you can do it cheaper, but it is worth it to me to have a neat stack of the100AH 48v batteries rather than 3 times as many 12 volt 165AH ones. I still haven't found a use for the 4, 150AH 12v ones I bought, since I went with the 48v ones. Enjoy that beach 😊

You running a balancer? I have 4x 165ah batteries and they drift apart a few % in the same day at times. Wishing I went with a server rack honestly and spent a bit more haha

any recommendations on a 240v in/out inverter 5-6kw?
Think this battery can be on the floor with panel/cable side pointed straight up?

Thinking of a cheaper DP3 for inlet power backup.
Thanks.

EG4 6000K is a decent choice. Doesn't use a whole lot of power in standby compared to many others. Setup has a learning curve but support for it online is pretty good. Lots of videos on it as well as customer support if you purchase it from signature solar.

šŸ˜‚ I'm running 4 DJLBERMPW batteries in series and 4 DChouse batteries 4s2p. BTW money I saved is actually going to a 7 night vacation on the beach next wk. I'll post pics so you all know what the savings "could have" bought.

I'll take them off your hands. I need more storage for my system. I'm shunting 10kwh + power everyday from my solar b/c I don't have enough storage.

No balancer. I've been running my 4-165's and my 4 100ah DJLBERMPW in 4s2p for the last 2 months running my house. No issues.
