"Value packs...arrive in a polybag or plain brown box"
Thought on authenticity? These 'bulk packaging' versions seem to only ever appear via questionable sellers.. Did Apple actually distribute new/legit products in generic packaging direct to businesses? they seem all about their product image and presentation.

I've received a fake one from one of the big sellers, I forget who, wasn't Woot though. Only reason I noticed was it didn't trigger the animation and I wouldn't bet they're testing all these to that extent.

I got an iPhone 15 pro max certified preowned from Verizon and the charging cable was new in a sealed polybag. And it was the official braided Apple cable. This might be the same

I ordered during last deal and received the genuine one.
Order Date: Nov 25, 2024

1. While attaching to the iPhone, charging animation around the MagSafe is appearing.
2. This MagSafe charger Model number is available during charging.

Due to above two conditions, we can say that these MagSafe chargers are genuine from Woot even though there are in bulk packaging.

Are there good reasons to use these versus the generic ones that are half the price on Amazon?

Generic ones are not MagSafe. They are qi wireless charging with a round magnet These charge faster. And if you get second generation and have a newer phone, it can get up to 15W.

The 1 and 2 unit packages are all sold out. Only 3 unit packages available now - so - 39.99 for 3.

Got this from last Woot sale. Could not charge my Pixel 8 Pro fast enough through the MagSafe magnet. I was using Google Maps, and the battery kept dropping.

This is meant for Apple, not Google pixel
