EDIT: I noticed there is a photo of the 'floor' tool. Mine didn't come with one 4 years ago. That makes the vacuum an even better deal.

This is the 2-battery starter kit, comes with a free bare tool. EDIT: the vac is included if you click more.
I have this vac and it's great. I agree with the 12-15 minute runtime per CORE 4ah battery mentioned above, which is perfect for cleaning out the car and similar small jobs. Rinse-able filter is a huge upside as well. I wouldn't recommend anything less than 4ah and IMO don't bother with the non-CORE (previous generation) battery.

4ah is like 7mins. Honestly. And 8ah will get you about 20 mins.
And when I'm using it connected to a tool (circ saw, electric hand planer, router, etc) it can run for 20 mins over a few uses.
Also, it goes down to about 70% power after a minute or two.
But the REAL ISSUE is how unbelievably hot it makes the batteries. I keep my batter compartment lid open just to keep it a bit cooler. And if you drain the Bosch batteries in this repeatedly (10-20 times or so) your battery will be toast.
With that said, ALL battery powered shop vacs have this same issue. I know that my wife Shark spot vacuum can run for nearly 50 mins on its 3ah battery it comes with. And it pulls harder than the Bosch.
I love bosch, but they need to do some minor tweaks to tools to make them better.
