This is a godsend, especially if you own a boat, a vehicle or an RV. I also use it to clean my shed. It's super powerful and not very heavy. The ONLY drawback is the absence of a 'floor' tool which lies flat on a surface to scoop up more area than the round hose or the crevice tool. It's a joy to use and a fully charged battery lasts about 20 minutes... which is plenty for my needs. I've had mine for 4 years. This is a slick deal.
EDIT: I noticed there is a photo of the 'floor' tool. Mine didn't come with one 4 years ago. That makes the vacuum an even better deal.

Your shed is vacuum-clean? Idk if my mice and groundhog would appreciate that.

The real question is: does he use a bidet?

This is the 2-battery starter kit, comes with a free bare tool. EDIT: the vac is included if you click more.
I have this vac and it's great. I agree with the 12-15 minute runtime per CORE 4ah battery mentioned above, which is perfect for cleaning out the car and similar small jobs. Rinse-able filter is a huge upside as well. I wouldn't recommend anything less than 4ah and IMO don't bother with the non-CORE (previous generation) battery.

I've had one for a few years now and it's been great. Considering getting another one for this price. I have a bunch of 4 ah batteries and it goes through them quick. I have 8Ah batteries that do so much better and fit with plenty of room. It probably has room for 12 ah batteries in the battery compartment, but I don't have any to try.

Are you sure about the floor tool? It stores in the center area of where the hose wraps. I forget to use it half the time not realizing it's there😆

These are very high quality. Mine has run strong since 2021, almost daily use, in construction.

The filters are also high quality, robust, washable, and only $19 for OEM replacements online.

Probably a combination of unrealistic expectations and / or not understanding what BARE TOOL means.

4ah is like 7mins. Honestly. And 8ah will get you about 20 mins.

And when I'm using it connected to a tool (circ saw, electric hand planer, router, etc) it can run for 20 mins over a few uses.

Also, it goes down to about 70% power after a minute or two.

But the REAL ISSUE is how unbelievably hot it makes the batteries. I keep my batter compartment lid open just to keep it a bit cooler. And if you drain the Bosch batteries in this repeatedly (10-20 times or so) your battery will be toast.

With that said, ALL battery powered shop vacs have this same issue. I know that my wife Shark spot vacuum can run for nearly 50 mins on its 3ah battery it comes with. And it pulls harder than the Bosch.

I love bosch, but they need to do some minor tweaks to tools to make them better.
