Thank you! Mine does have the steel bezel and it has some huge scratches and gouges in it, I'm not sure plastic body could have held up to some of the abuse this has been through.
I've been waiting for the music version of this to drop to $200 for a long time to replace my VA4 (not because I want/need music, but because I'm partial to white - damn you Garmin!)
I highly prefer the look of the Forerunners, and the glass on them is inset so less likely to get scratched, where on the VA4 the glass protrudes a bit beyond the bezel (mine's scratch free though).
I figure if you really want the more formal metal look, the MARQ line is what you should be looking at, but, you know, you're going to pay for it.

Side note they do make a 255 Music... Which will play uploaded mp3 or Spotify songs, but this isn't that version.

Battery life on these is pretty wild. My 945 lasts all week easily with about five hours of running interspersed throughout the week. I've never been concerned about the battery being dead or low.
