I've had my eye on Kindle Colorsoft since it released last year, just happened to take a look and noticed they have a Prime exclusive deal for the bundle including Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition 32GB, jade green case and the wireless charging stand for $211.97
I was able to combine it with a trade in of an old Kindle I had laying around for an additional 20% off, for a total of $175.61 after tax for the bundle
Regularly priced at $279, the lowest price I have seen for the Colorsoft was a few months ago at $225 for the reader alone, so almost $50 off that and including the case and charger I likely would've purchased anyway makes this a great deal
I suspect based on previous experiences you may even be able to return the charger and case and get an even better price on the Kindle itself, but YMMV
At release there were some concerns with the Colorsoft having a yellow band issues, I see that those concerns have mostly been rectified in the time since release as well
Pretty good price for a color eink. I ended up going with a Boox Go Color 7 gen II. The reading experience is definitely better on kindles, but I like having the play store so I'm not limited to just Amazon. Also browsing the web and looking at discord and telegram is easier on the eyes at night before bed.
I wish I could use an ereader. But it would just be giving up everything for the super minor advantage of the slightly nicer display (for reading).
An android phone lets me seamlessly switch between reading and text-to-speech using my custom voice and pronunciation settings, my own cloud storage for DRM-free books and scraped web published works, all while having the device in my pocket all day long. A dedicated reader is worthless next to that.
Reading on a phone or tablet isn't even in the same ballpark as reading on eink. The reading experience is leaps and bounds better with eink.

They say they did, yes
Just software update for this paper weight.
Debating between this and the regular Paperwhite Signature Edition as it is only a $20 difference.
While I probably wouldn't be reading too many comics, it is nice to have the option.
