Good for beginners, but you will not be able to generate much spin with this paddle.

Honestly, just skip buying this caliber of paddle. Search for any low end carbon surface paddle. You can usually find one for $25ish and it'll serve you for a much longer period of time before you feel like you need an upgrade as a beginner. These fiberglass paddles will be extremely easy to outgrow and just seem like a general waste of time
