I read on a previous SD post that BuyDig is generally where brands go to sell overstock as 'refurb' so MSRPs arent impacted for their other vendors. It also allows them to not have to honor warranties themselves, and will usually outsource them via Allstate or some other provider like this does. I bought a Bravia OLED from these guys a few months back refurbished, and aside from a sticker, the TV inside was brand new. Even came in OEM packaging inside a brown cardboard box w/ 2 year allstate warranty.

My guess is this model didnt sell the best so they are dumping stock as refurb. I bought it new from them for 340 last time it was on sale and its been fantastic.

This or FR 965/970? My 945 just bit the dust and Garmin isn't going to replace it for free for me. It's the fifth refurb I've had to get in the past 3 years for various failings ranging from battery dying randomly to GPS failure, their build quality has been terrible for that model.

Thanks! I've been waiting for a good deal on Epix 2 since missing deal at Walmart for $390. It's a shame they calculate sales tax before coupon instead of properly applying after discounts.

Was that the pro model? Why does this version have so many refurbs?

This is my watch and so far all time favorite of 3 Fenix watches. The newer versions have different sizes and then were merged with the Fenix 8. Battery life is excellent and the screen is great.

Interesting….
Lost my second Apple Watch in the lake yesterday. Considering switching to Garmin as my son has a cheaper model and loves it.
Refurbished but do you think the screen might have scratches or the bezel? Can you check battery health on Garmin watches?

Yo! It sounds like our Forerunner 945 bit the dust on exact same day! Had that thing forever, and took great care of it. Wore it 24/7 for 6 years. Then all of sudden, green triangle of death screen 4 days ago. I actually just ordered the Forerunner 255 non-music for $199 on lightning deal. It's a lower series than the 945 but still an upgrade on tech. I won't miss some of the functions that the 945 had. It was a little overkill for me. I just bought it 6 years ago when bluecross blueshield had that ridiculous discount that someone post on this forum. I was quick to snag one before figured found out they made a mistake of listing the 945 as an item to be discounted. I'm going to pair the 255 with a polar h10 heart monitor.

Can't decide between this or being patient and waiting for Amazon prime day….
Amazon already marking some of the watches down. Hope prime day brings bigger discounts
