I was in need of some freezer quart bags and decided to get some at Dollar Tree. They were $1.25 for 20 bags (~$0.06/Bag). I was not impressed with the quality either. Trying the Amazon ones, hoping they are better quality. They also come out to ~$0.04/Bag.

I'm seeing the coupon rate at checkout. There is also decent price with coupon for the 1 gallon size.
I bought some of these on previous deal and quality seems fine.

I bought a box of these months ago. I hate them. They have the flimsiest seal I have ever experienced in a zip storage bag. The bag opens incredibly easily.

I tried all the freezer bags out there. Ziploc is the absolute best freezer for quart and gallon food preservation. Thicker film. Much bigger in size. Makes a huge difference when freezing because the thinner bags tend to crack open in the freezer when shuffling things around. It still has limitations. My family packs a lot of chicken and beef when on sale in Ziploc freezer. We dip or brush on extra virgin olive oil from costco before putting them in bags, bleeding out the air. Keeps meats from freezer burn for years. But chicken wings and sharp bones can puncture through too many times. Not really a big deal since the oil protects. Just when you thaw out it leaks. We don't use auto defrost freezers, only manual.

I use these cheaper Amazon freezer bags for temporary uses outside of food. Toss in anything. Keeps small things together. Keeps out moisture and humidity. At some point I should do a video on the importance of these for a huge variety of surprising uses in the home, at work and outdoors. Definitely buy. I am now.

Walgreens ones are not bad. As you may know they go for three 20 count ones for less than $3 frequently, and including a gallon ones. So those seem better or almost same value. Except that those are not "stand alone."

I like the DT bags, especially if you don't need a bunch. I'm always leery of their Basics products. They're designed to attract for price, not quality. Also, they use their internal metrics to identify popular, successful 3rd-party products and then undercut them with imitations. Other companies like Target, Walmart, Home Depot have their own brands, sure, but Amazon's value:quality ratio mostly stinks.

The Amazon line of freezer bags are my go to. The gallon bags get so much use in my house for storing leftovers and dry goods. Never had any issues.
