Most people who buy into this aren't buying for Office, they're buying for the 6x 1TB of OneDrive storage which blows competitor cloud pricing out of the sky. For the price you get: cross device support, ransomware prevention, mass delete prevention, versioning, file sharing between accounts... For those concerned with privacy from Microsoft for certain things, you can use something like Cryptomator to encrypt your data before uploading.

I paid $74 last time around for the 15 month family plan. Hoping to see this deal soon as my renewal is coming up.

None of the AV bundles are a perk imo. All 3rd party AV play catch-up behind defender and add unnecessary weight to your system.

yeah this addition of Norton is more of a nuisance than anything to me.

never intend on using it and dont want to deal with auto pays or anything like that with them.

You should always have antivirus, but Windows Defender does just fine so there's no need to pay for a premium suite like Norton. The only time I install anything else is when I suspect something is up and need to do a major scan... I haven't had to do this to my personal machine in probably 15+ years but I've had to do it for friends and family. I would use something free and open source if I needed to do that today though... creating an Ubuntu rescue key being the first stop

😂 You're math is not correct.
It's 90 cents difference / per month.

But point taken. Think I still want the 15 month plan.

Do you get a code to redeem after buying 365? Or do you have to manage through their site, like the amazon, newegg deals.

Yeah. I'm quite curious about that. I unknowingly let mine auto-renew through the Amazon code I bought a while back. If I'd known that was going to happen, I would have never bought the extension from Amazon like I did.

Didn't they raise prices this year? The cheaper bundle discounts are probably gone
They raised the prices by bundling in AI features Frown

So to answer my own question- it emails a code that you can enter in your subscription panel within your Microsoft account.

I also had it through Amazon and after a couple years of renewals I figured out that if I let it lapse they give you a grace of a few days before they start deleting your files. Once that happens you can renew from your account in o365. I mainly use it for the 1tb storage/photo backup from my phone so that bit was crucial.

For those who placed an order, how long did it take to receive your product key?
