I think the 2000mAh battery is a bit too small, especially if you use it on a hot day at its highest setting.

so that was my initial thought. but I've picked up these cheaper versions with the smaller battery...with the regular Slickdeals posts about 5k/10k battery packs these last couple weeks. I just plug one of those packs and I'm set for the "sitting at a table outdoor" stuff this summer.

its a great fan, but its LOUD. i mean even on the first setting you can hear it.. but when it goes to level 5, its hollering

Just for reference, I got another DiveBlues turbo fan exactly a month ago. It was on sale with a 50% off coupon, resulting in a price of $9.49. While it was 50 cents more expensive than this one, the battery was twice the size at 4000mAh.
