What is the use-case for something like this? It's overkill for basic computing but lacks a GPU for gaming, AI, video editing, etc

But even then, Mini-PCs with OCulink, Mini-PCs with multiple USB4/Thunderbolt ports, or even Beelink's own GTi-line that's compatible with their proprietary Beelink EX Docking Stations, would be better investments if someone plans on using an external GPU.

Tiny database server for side projects. Can also serve as a cache for RAG portion of your ML pipeline. 96gb is a pretty high cache size for specific domains like coding. You could store the documentation for basically every python package as markdown with ease.

I've been looking at Beelink products, and it's frustrating how stingy they are with USB4/TB4. This one only having one port is a real letdown, especially at this price.

I'm curious to run Unraid on it and be able to game on a VM by passing the GPU and then turn it off when I don't game thus saving massing amounts of power.
I wonder if that would crash the system or just work...

People actually use eGPUs? Why wouldn't you just build a small form factor desktop them? Gonna look far better. Plus then you gotta buy a GPU mount and the GPU itself. The proprietary ones are ridiculously expensive.
