I have $540 of credit left. Used it for several months for our family to go out to one of our favorite restaurants ... we were able to go every week due to the large discounted gift cards and in app purchases. Suddenly last week the restaurant no longer accepted payment with inKind. Now there are no other places within 30 miles at all, and none I would want to go to within 50 miles.

Just beware this unsustainable business model could collapse altogether.

Those in app things are never 40% off. look closely. They are sometimes a 40% bonus on cash. Which really equates to a 28% discount. Don't get fooled! Clever marketing for sure.

Cashback don't work either if you're using the GC credits too

They haven't had 40% off since January and I have no idea if they'll do that sale again. I should have bought back then but there just aren't that many eligible restaurants in my area.

Yes. It is pretty discreet. You just enter the number of the bill in the app and pay with your balance. Tips are paid in full using your credit card. So you are not stiffing the waiter.

Title is misleading as these are regularly $69-$74 at Costco. Never ,$100. Still good deal

As you said. Pay using the number on the bill. Tips are paid directly in full using your credit card. That is fair. You don't want to stiff the waiter

Would of caution my local chevys would support this payment method and about two months ago it disappeared.

Eat at a place and get the bill
Bill has a number on it
Enter the number in the app to pay your bill

Thanks.
You can tip in the app, but you can't use your inkind credit to tip. Comes straight from your CC and there's no 20% cash back on it.

Do you still get 20% back on purchases made with the gift card balance?

Bummer. The last Costco InKind deal was $100 for $60 (aka 40% off). I bought six of those and I guess I should've bought more.
I feel you! And it's your first time going to a restaurant they also have 25 off 50 which adds more!!!!

No…either one or the other, use your gift card balance or pay with credit card to get the 20% back.

Just bought 2. Got the email and one code worked right away. The other says it has already been redeemed. Reached out to Costco support for a resolution. Definitely would recommend checking the codes ASAP upon receiving.

Same thing happened to me, I visited the restaurant in May and used inKind to pay. When I looked at the app late in June they were no longer participating. There are a few other restaurants in our city that are near by that I can go to, but that burger place was one of our favorite…kind of sucks, just a reminder to hurry up and use the credits. With that being said, I might grab one from this deal since they've added new restaurants recently that we'd go to.

I/ve been using inkind for the last year or so. i really don't know how it's sustainable - I'm literally eating the same food as everyone else around me and paying 35% less. On top of that, if you sign up for their emails, they often send $ off coupons. I use it so much that I actually sign up for their yearly subscription that gives me $50 off $150 once a month.

If you do sign up, definitely use ask for a referral link - you get $25 off $50 for your first purchase. and the $25 is really 25 *0.65 -- so you're spending $16.25 + tip on a $50 meal!

Been waiting for a long time for the $60 one, but not sure if it will ever come back again. $65 will do. Got 5, thank you!
