I just got new neighbors who have four dogs. I rarely sit in the backyard, but I used Roundup to eliminate weeds. Now, I'm switching to a mixture of vinegar, dish soap, and Epsom salt, and it's working well.
It's been around since the 50's and found to be safe by the EPA, WHO, etc. Legal payouts are usually the result of sympathetic juries (like coffee being too hot at McDonalds).
the coffee too hot was McDonald's being dicks. she deserved every penny. go read up the actual story

"...Other documents showed that, from 1982 to 1992, McDonald's had received more than 700 reports of people burned by McDonald's coffee to varying degrees of severity, and had settled claims arising from scalding injuries for more than $500,000."

My point was sympathetic juries often side wth people over big corporations regardingles of the circumstances. McD lady was awarded $3M or so by the jury, which was later reduced significantly by the judge.

70 incidents a years is nothing considering how many McD there are. Same with $500K. You'd be surprised at the amounts big corps pay out. Cost of doing business that they just pass along to customers.

I do this in the fenced in area that our dogs have access to and Tractor Supply glysophate in the rest of the yard. The section I use the vinegar mix does kill the weeds but they immediately grow back. Whereas the rest of the yard stays weed free for much longer.

And others, like the IARC have said that it is probably carcinogenic to humans. The legal payouts were because Monsanto was actively trying to hide the risk. Whether it is or isn't is up to debate, but people should make the decision with all the data. I think many would find the squeeze (cancer) isn't worth the juice (choosing one herbicide over another).
Yep, glyphosate, and the rest of the EPA approved herbicides, are very safe as long as you don't pour it over yourself. The lawsuits involving Round Up were commercial sprayers that were almost bathing in it. Normal residential use were one doesn't even touch the substance posses no threat at all.

What is there to read other than a women split her coffee and most didn't think McDonald's should have been liable for her own accident.
This is a seminal gross negligence case.

This is what a lot of landscapers use. I think the price is significantly better than tractor supply too.
Just my experience.
