I've had two of these over the course of 15 years. Older model slightly different but these things are awesome. All of my furniture would be stained if it wasn't for this. Well worth this price
I bought this on a previous deal for about the same. It's fine. I'd probably pass on this and get something that had a powered, rotary brush.
I don't have any specific devices in mind, but our full-size Bissel has a detachable hose with a head that has a brush that rotates which does a better job, IMO. Obviously, it's not as portable as the one in this "deal".
How is this for cleaning up runny dog messes on carpets? I'm sick and tired of getting out my fullsize steam vac everytime...
edit: I just bought one, I guess I'll find out!

This machine is good but dont expect miracles. If you have seen the car cleaning videos where they just make a car seat like new, dont expect that here.It will clean light stains and immediate messes, you will spend a LONG time trying to suck up the water it puts in fabrics.
I have this, it leaks a lot. Leaves a residue from the dirty water container. Apparently there are some complaints about that as well online. But as far as cleaning ability, very good.
