Same price as last "sale". From my experience (snagged 3) you are on your own after 30 day AMZ return. Named OEM has no written warranty after that (none in box, no instruction manual) E support was out of the Emirates and very reluctant to settle for cost of a replacement when micro USB charge port failed/came loose. Useful lamp until you can no longer charge the battery. AMZ so kindly deleted my neg review
Excellent camping lantern for the price. I got a couple of them back in '22 and still like and use them a lot.
If you can get past the micro USB charging port. It seems like nowadays folks can't handle the directional up/down nature of micro USB connection and destroy them in the process. It's not like a phone that you have to charge almost daily.
These are driven by two soldered-in 18650 lithium batteries which gives this a good brightness and runtime. There is a cooler white, brighter mode and a warmer white mode, which can be combined. They can be step-less dimmed. Top can be removed to use it more as a whole-room or upside down light than a lantern.
Definitely a big step up from the cheapo 2 AA or D driven contraptions.

So that's a real thing? Amazon deleting negative reviews?

It's always been a thing that they reviewed the review before posting. Why not censor. Plus Amazon sells a lot of stuff where there are fake reviews from sellers. I complained once about a product and the seller sent me a new one and asked if I would leave a good review. I didn't.

Yes, it's microUSB, but most of us still remember and have them so they're not that big of a deal.
imo USB-C is a bigger issue as there are issues with charging certain devices on high-output USB-C cables that aren't compatible. With MicroUSB you just have to make sure the ends match - same with USB-A, and how difficult is that?
Bought this in the last sale and really like it. Use it when I go to the backyard at night and as a general light for working on things. Haven't used it for camping yet but it's been pretty solid

Deal killer for me, I am trying to consolidate to USB-C.
