Is a pro3 on the horizon any time soon, and if so, will it offer any benefit over 2?

I have a pro 1.0 that is beginning to show its age after 5 years of abuse and know I'll need to yield to getting something new soonish.

Rumors suggest Pro 3 might be coming, but not 100% confirmed.

I'm in the same boat. Bought a pair of EarFun Pro 4 to hold me over. Good ANC, worse transparency than AirPod Pros, but they sound WAY BETTER. it was shocking. Insane value for <70

The Pro 3 is probably coming, but they will also begin around $229 at the lowest I think.

These are really good (and I don't even have an iPhone.)

I purchased at this price for Christmas and have no regrets at all.

I think I paid $135 a few months back with the target sale that allowed stacking of coupons, others got it down to $125 or so.

This deal smells of just a money maker for staff to make you think you're getting a good deal. The $169'price seems to be occurring frequently and if Costco has them for $150 then it seems to imply more deals are in the future.

I already have a set and prefer them over my galaxy buds pro, so anyone on the fence... I'd recommend them.
Side question, I recently won a giveaway and got an unopened box that I don't need. Those of you who would look for a local deal, where do you go... FB marketplace? eBay?

I did the same and pretty spot on on the audio quality. Can't comment too much on the transparency though as I haven't used it much without anc.

The occlusion (hearing your own voice in your head) is a bummer. But it's otherwise decent.

Look, we go through this every time these come up. They are worth $170 every day of the week, and twice on Sunday. There isn't anything in this price range, even at full price, that compares. They are phenomenal. Either you have the money for them, or you don't. Stop squabbling over "Maybe they'll be $10-$20 at some point." You will never, freaking ever, miss that money in a month or two. If, years from now, you're sitting there thinking about the $20 you maybe could have saved, then you have much bigger problems than money. I've had my AirPods Pro 2 since right after they came out, and they're fantastic. Worth every single penny.
