Initially, they were 2 different links because they were actually 2 separate promotions in their system. I was confused since I had 3 items in my cart, but 2 were showing on one of the links when I searched and 1 was showing on the other link. While working with support, one of the items no longer became eligible and the other was showing as eligible as the same link as the last remaining item. Weird.

As usual, try to get titles with similar prices to maximize the discount.

Thanks for the sorted links, make it so much easier to maximize savings by grouping similar cost items next to each other! Also, You can't mix items from the first list and the second list and have the discount Frown, I tried with Lethal Weapon from list 1 with 2 titles from list 2... no dice.

I wound up ordering 4K movies from Target. There's no nonsense in dealing with lists as everything I checked qualifies, prices were comparable, and got an additional 5% off for using the Target Red Card.

When at all possible, I'm purchasing movies somewhere other than Amazon after reading threads for deals earlier this year where people have received movies with the digital codes missing or redeemed. There multiple videos on YouTube via CNBC about how people abuse their return process, and wind up reselling some returns as new, so not worth the hassle if you can avoid it.

If you're willing to work with Customer Service, they were willing to give me a $15 promo credit applied while ordering to correct the "issue" with having items from both lists. YMMV.

Original price of Target movies is way more expensive. Their b2g1free is a joke. They are charging $30 for old movies

Wider selection with Target and some preorders. Like others stated try to maximize the savings with like prices, higher prices that is. I also had a 15% off cartwheel coupon along with 5% off REDCARD

Every movie I checked at Target is comparable in price to Amazon, so please post any of these amazing deals you're finding for 4K movies at Amazon if you want to contribute. Otherwise,Target is the better deal with more options.

Amazon is trying desperately to match Walmart and Target all week so that they aren't outdone in sales numbers during Prime week, so it's not like they're matching competitor sale prices out of random goodwill. It's good to see all 3 of them fighting it out, cause consumers win with lower prices overall with the competition.

I agree, in most cases Target was the same price (like exactly, eg Target is 19.21, Amazon is 19.21, an obvious price match). I ordered 51 movies from both places, and compared prices of titles by adding to cart in groups of 3 at each place and compared the final cart with "place order" button to ensure that all taxes and discounts were applied. In 16 of those cases Target was 5% cheaper because of Red Card discount, and in a few of those cases Target was MUCH cheaper given 1) a few titles had Amazon being much higher, and 2) Target had more titles that qualified. In ONE case Amazon was a few bucks cheaper because a few of their movies were a dollar or so cheaper per title than Target was.

YMMV based on what movies you pick, but in my case Target was the go to for this sale.

Okay maybe i was wrong i have not checked this time around but in the past when target has had buy 2 get 1 free i would go and check and they were selling old movies for 30. I never actually ordered from them. If its cheaper for you go for it. I already have almost 200 physical discus so finding 3 movies that i want to pick up is not easy as i only buy the movies i actually want to watch and think are worthy to be part of my collection.
