Exactly. EBay definitely the better place to get it. This is the lowest price i've seen in quite a while...

Also my costco warehouse hasn't had these in stock all year. Which is not normal for them. So I don't know if there slowing production of these or what's going on...

I bought one of these last year and it was a complete POS. Was not refurbished at all, was just a used unit with hour meter reset. had a full quart of black metallic oil in the crank case. didnt trust it so sold on marketplace as is for parts.

would never buy another firman "refurb" unit again

Its Allstate warranty. I've used it when a wifi deco I bought refurbished that died a year later. The warranty claim was EASY to deal with. I also have the generator, new from costco. Have been happy with it.
