There are various horror stories online about ordering directly from Minisforum, especially if you happen to need any support. They also have a short return window. It's safest to buy from a vendor like Amazon with better returns and to buy some other brand of computer. Or, at least use PayPal or a credit card with good purchase protection when things go wrong. If you are willing to take a gamble, this is a great price for these specs.

Grab, choose long shipping for reward, check prime day deals, cancel if better offer exists. Keep it if not.

The specs are pretty close to the UM790 and UM890. I feel like it would be better to wait for an Amazon deal on one of those two than to risk having issues with Minisforum direct.

Minisforum and refurbs... not a great combination. Do your home on this one before pulling the trigger.

I cannot recommend enough that you do NOT buy from this company. Absolutely terrible experience.

I'd recommend not buying Minisforum at all. Had 2 of them die on me within a month (both behind a UPS) and then two replacements died as well. The replacements were from Amazon as Minisforum support was non-existent (2-weeks between replies and they consisted of generic slop) I just gave up and replaced them with AOOStar and haven't had an issue since.
There are horror stories all over the mini pc reddit about them and their products on Amazon are labeled as high return.

are these units returned multiple times? So many horror stories about minisforum. Refurbished means they may have problems and the return windows is 7 days, to even have a chance. So, dont buy unless you have ram and ssd ready to plugin and test.
