String trimmer too. Noticed then yesterday in NorCal, but I didn't know the usual price and I didn't need it.

True, but it is a beast in power. My wife initially complained of its weight but now won't even use the older 40v. I bought recently from GW's website with the free 4.0a battery for $170. Crazy good deal. Eventually i'd like to migrate my tools to 80v and this is my first. My others, including lawn mover are 40v. I was running this blower with some shorts on and it wanted to suck the material into the inlet. Lots of power.

Good powerful blower. I picked one up a few weeks ago from the GW "reconditioned" outlet. $156 with both the 2.5 and 4.0 batteries and charger. New style batteries, the 4.0 is about the same length as the 2.5, and they have 4 power/charge level lights instead of 3 on the older batteries.

Only a 90 day warranty but these usually fail out of the box, or run for years. Not a scratch or spec of dust anywhere on any of the components, virtually brand new. Companies often mark down overstock as "Reconditioned" to move inventory, even though brand new.

I have this and a gas Stihl BG55. On paper the Stihl is much less powerful. In reality, it is much more powerful. For small jobs, I use the Greenworks. If I need a lot of power for a long time, I use the Stihl. The Greenworks being electric is more user friendly, less maintenance, less noise. Still need to use noise protection with it though.
