Lol same but I bought it! I had just purchased the home base three so I thought I might be getting two awesome cameras for 30 bucks LOL

Hit and miss with capturing video that is further than 15 feet away.
If using with Homebase 3 and there is a power outage, no video will be recorded to the onboard memory of the S340 unit or any other cameras that are connected to the HB3, rendering all cameras useless They will record if you're not using the Home Base. You would think that the software engineering could figure out a way to initialize and use onboard camera recording in the event of a power outage. This has been confirmed by tech support.
Look elsewhere.
