šŸ˜‚ y'all paying for this? Google needs to pay me money to use their phone. Jokes aside, I have pixel 7 pro which use the same chip as this, the modem is not as good as snapdragon counterparts and it gets super hot and slow to charge.
The battery is useless on this phone. Pixels always have some issue, look at the 6a drama going on still.

I got one in early June (same excellent refurb from woot) at the $500 price point. Came in condition that I can't distinguish from new. It is a really nice phone with Android 16 beta on it. Nice split screen feature too when opened.

Also, it is the only foldable phone right now at this smaller (shorter) form factor. That was why I bought mine.

Did it come with the original box?

Warranty is 1 year but from Woot not from Google. See here https://d3gqasl9vmjfd8.cloudfront...29988e.pdf

I've had a pixel 4a for like 5 years. Things a beast and hasn't slowed down a bit. I'm a total fan now. The only reason I'm looking for a new phone is because I want a pixel with a bigger screen.

Does it have the issue of dirt and sand getting stuck in the hinges? I saw a video on a phone (not pixel) that had that issue and I've been wary since

Yes every existing foldable will have that problem. I wouldn't recommend taking any current foldable to the beach. There is some hope that the next generation of foldables coming out this year will have IP68 rating where the 6 means it prevents dust and dirt ingress. Be careful and take care of your device and you likely won't have any issues.

Can you confirm if the Desktop mode "DEX" like feature works? eg. you can plug in to an external monitor and use it like a desktop?

I do not believe it has this feature.
I don't think it even has video out support from its USB-C. That is only offered on the very recent Pixel lines.
