With the way wyze has gone I gotta ask. Does this have functionality in the app like the v3 cams or it is subscription only for previews etc like the v4?

Hmm.... I'm not sure what you're talking about with the V4 vs the V3 and no subscription features. I have a bunch of V3's and a few V4's and they all work the same without a subscription as far as the functionality you get as long as you're using an SD card.

The v4s function just like the v3s. I have both.

WRONG. What he meant was if it could be used along side Cam Lite Plus, I am sure and additionally the V4 format when reviewing SD card footage is miles worse than the V3 format.

If you want playback features like event recording and some other features, you do need a subscription: https://www.wyze.com/products/cam...K5WtSx-wCF

Is the memory slot on the side of the doorbell with relatively easy access? That seems like a bad idea.

I, for one, think a doorbell shouldn't be a subscription service.

FYI, Wyze V2 Doorbell is not supported by Thingino.

No. 24x7 recording to SD card or record events to SD card. That's only for cloud recordings

Subscription is optional for cloud recordings. It records 24x7 locally for free

These stopped coming with a Chime after V1 right? You have to buy the chime separate?
