The pla pro has been outstanding with my Bambu A1.

I particularly love the white PLA Pro.
It prints buttery smooth. It's fantastic for model painting. 🤍

My Elegoo CC delivers tomorrow and with all these filament deals going on, which filament would you recommend. I currently have about 6 rolls of filament what is about 5 years old that I plan on putting in a filament dryer before using but have little faith that it will actually print.

I have the CC. It really depends on what you plan on printing or personal preference as far as which filament you would purchase. I've printed with Elegoo Pla plus, pla pro, Rapid pla, basic pla, pla silk, rapid petg and their TPU. All print great for me with the built in Elegoo slicer settings for the selected filament. I did not need to do any filament calibration.

I just have the a1 and ams lite and the rapid pla+ and rapid petg spools fit just fine with it. If you have the regular ams there are spool adapter rings you can print from maker world that let them spin better than the cardboard rolls do. I've had my printer about 3 weeks only so i'm still figuring things out but I've printed about 3-4kg of elegoo rapid pla+ and 3kg of elegoo rapid petg. The petg was annoying to find the right settings but it's been pretty good once I wasted ~1kg of failed prints, i had it keep failing 20-70% into a 12 hour print
All the terms around filaments are confusing. PLA, PLA+, PLA+ 2.0, Rapid PLA+... I found all i really need to do is change the temps about +/- 10 degrees between sunlu pla+2.0 and elegoo rapid pla+

Yes it does, tho you need a bit of force to get the roll off the AMS, which is the main reason I try to get Bambu's filament, but as far as printing goes I haven't had too many issues, about 15 rolls in.

I just bought a bunch from Bambu or else I'd get more from here. A great cheaper option would recommend.

I use an AMS lite

There is a YT video or Short on removing the sides from the Elegoo spools and sliding it onto the Bambu spool. This is what I have been doing. So yes, it'll work. For some people it also works as is, but I haven't had any luck in either one of my AMS.

One of the best, in my experience.
It behaves much better with the AMS than Creality or Eryone filament & ESPECIALLY Sunlu.

The Sunlu deal for $10 per spool gives you a reusable spool that is very close to what Bambu charges $12 for just the spool.
