Fun games, I've played 2 and 3. Digital is cheaper, I'm pretty sure I paid about $5 for CQ2 last year, and $12 for CQ3 the other day. Both still on sale at Nintendo. The digital trilogy is $24 for another 8 days, however the individual games have different sale ending dates.

isnt the individual one cost even cheaper than the trilogy digital?
Thinking about picking this up for kids to play - is this too difficult for a 5 year old?
A 5 year old would likely need a good bit of guidance with these games to complete quests and upgrade/change weapons, armor, and abilities. In my opinion, 7-8 years old is probably the sweet spot to start kids on a game like this. Though every kid is different.
Some reading is required, but the games do provide quest markers and graphics that show the player the path to take in most situations.

Thanks!
My 5yp daughter recently started playing Minecraft with her 8yo brother. Although she is just doing simple stuff and needs assistance picking things from the inventory 🙂
Was hoping they could try some other games that have a coop aspect to it.

Ah! I think both Cat Quest 2 and 3 support local multiplayer, so if they play together, it'd probably be a lot of fun for them.
