All 3 I've opened had a scoop.

Taste is individual preference. i think it tastes good for a sweetened/flavored protein (My favorite is unflavored).

Mix in a few ounces of almond milk if it's too thick.

I heard the ON double rich is more like bitter dark chocolate. The ON extreme milk chocolate is closer to this dymatize one (and personally tastes slightly better.) for the price though I'll still take this even with the slightly more chemical taste.
