Yes, they are great. I got this [amazon.com] and as you see it, they are identical. If the unit, insists on buying their own branded labels... then I wouldn't recommend it. There is a way around it, but I don't like being tied to a vendor. These are typically loss leaders and they try to make their money back selling labels for you.

Yes. I labeled my water bottle. Now just the label remains.

I have this exact one. It's been great and it has the larger labels compared to many of the others out there.

Meant to reply to you. Yes. I've been using mine for almost a year and it's been great. I also bought other labels with other colors. This has larger labels compared to other ones.

Get a Brother Ptouch Cube unit or something that works similarly with cassettes. They use thermal ribbon and not just direct thermal paper, so they won't fade. Plus the labels are laminated as they come out and will be water resistant. Generic Ptouch cassettes are everywhere too.

$10 vs $60-$100. I'll take a chance for $10

That's the Plus. Regular cube is $60 not on sale and generic tape is cheap. True, it's more money still, but you won't be using dodgy apps and dealing with labels that fade (and don't peal off). Buy once, cry once for a quality product.
