I don't know of a single 14" laptop that has a dedicated separate numeric keypad. Even on the 15" and up laptops, they are starting to go away, because they make the regular keyboard asymmetric to the screen.

Would have been perfect but no numeric pad. Thanks OP regardless.

I thought I saw them here and there, but you're probably right. Will have to go with 16". Thanks.

Would this be overkill for a home office computer? Thanks.

Curious why specs on the slickdeals description says 3.42 lbs while specs on the microcenter page say 4.42lbs.

Seems decent but have seen a few mentions of build quality. Can anyone speak to this?

Just checked these out in store. The weight seemed the same between the 258V and 288V models. The keyboard did flex a lot compared to other laptops.

Ended up getting the 258V. We'll see how it is and compare it to the Asus Vivobook S14

The official Dell spec sheet states the weight to be 1.55kg/3.42lbs. The 4.42 lbs. is the touchscreen model, which the MC ones are not: https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/dell-db14250-laptop/dell-14-plus-db14250_om/dimensions-an... [dell.com]

According to the document that you linked, the touchscreen is 3.53 lbs, not 4.42 lbs. There is no way a touchscreen adds a pound of weight.
I suspect that the 4.42 lbs is for the box weight, ie box, laptop, ac adapter, etc.

The 4.42 lbs is probably the box weight.
