Thanks for posting this OP Smilie

Norton 360 Platinum (same thing except you get 3 months extra so 15 months instead of 12) has dropped low as $21 so probably worth setting up a camelcamelcamel price watch to see if it happens again or maybe set the price watch for $25 to see if they match the newegg price

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VGCN..._dt_b_pd_1

Of course $25 for 20 devices for one year is, in my opinion anyways, a great deal ...and by saying that I risk starting once again the flame wars between those who say Norton itself is malware Stick Out Tongue in terms of it trying to constantly scare you into buying other norton products and the scary stuff that can happen if you don't turn off auto renew see below .. and the other camp who feels it's a worthwhile purchase especially if it's this cheap for the added protection on PC's, phones, tablets and so forth.

Absolutely positively turn off auto renew which you can do easily via the online norton account they'll have you create.. norton will force you to enter your credit card info just to activate the product which is pretty shady in my opinion.. but then you just have to go into your norton account, turn off auto renew (be careful they will highlight in yellow the "don't do it! Don't turn off auto renew" options to try to trick you so be careful what you click on ) , after you do that you can delete that credit card info you just entered and presto they're no way for them to pull shady tactics like auto-renew your subscription for $100 or worse when it expires which they've been known to do.. sadly Mcafee also forces credit card info (but can also be easily removed though in mcafee's case you need to speak to a chat agent online I think, friend who does it found it to be an easy pain free process) .. no idea if other security software packages (malwarebytes or whatever) force this credit card nonsense.

Here's what PC mag had to say about Norton (they liked it)

https://www.pcmag.com/reviews/norton-360-deluxe

and here's what they had to say about the free security software, windows defender, that comes with windows automatically

Technically, this is only for new users. It will set you up with a new subscription when you enter it. However, you can usually live chat with support to get them to add the days to your existing account if you give them the key BEFORE you set up the new subscription with the new key. (They MAY merge your accounts after, but also may not!) Be warned that they could stop this at any time.

You do have to put in a credit card for auto-renew, but you can cancel that after. They may even offer you extra months if you agree not to cancel it. Or afterwards as an incentive to set it up again.

I was about to buy this when I realized that I already bought two years at this price on Black Friday 2024.

Why do you need this? Is it better than Windows' built-in defender?
