Do your homework, according to chatGPT, continuous recording is always lower quality than 4K, so double check that it will do continuous on 4K, usually you need POE for continuous at full quality

I have this, and didn't see a difference in quality at all. The only thing continuous recording does is drain the battery pretty quickly, so make sure you get a 6w or 12w solar panel from reolink.

I use a 3rd party panel with a built-in battery itself and it's worked great keeping the camera powered all night after thunderstorms blocked out sunlight during the day (typical Florida summer thunderstorms)
