If an M2 Pro with 16GB Ram is enough for your workflow, then the 8TB SSD is a fantastic deal for $1350 (from Apple at least).

Excellent CPU, Excellent screen, build quality and battery life, 16GB Ram is acceptable, but cannot be increased.
  • Apple M2 Pro 10-Core CPU
  • 16GB Unified Memory
  • 8TB Solid State Drive
  • 16-Core GPU/16-Core Neural Engine
  • macOS
  • SDXC Card Slot
  • 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6E Wireless Networking
  • Bluetooth 5.3
  • 14.2" Liquid Retina XDR Display

Don't know why this is being upvoted, this is not a deal at all. Also, it has been this price since forever now and was posted before and didn't receive any traction at all: https://slickdeals.net/f/18350245-apple-macbook-pro-14-cto-early-2023-14-2-laptop-computer-certified-refurbished-space-gray-1-349-99?src=SDSearchv3&attrsrc=Thread%3AExpired%3AFalse%7CSearch%3AType%3Anormal%7CSearch%3ASort%3Arecent%7CSearch%3AHideExpired%3Afalse

Incredible. Crazy low price for this much storage on a recent generation MBP.

For those saying this is not a good deal, please share a better deal on <2yr old like-new 8TB MBP w/ warranty.

I was thinking about it, yes lots of storage, but for my use case photo and video editing the 16 core GPU and 16GB Ram is already obsolete.

If you want that much storage, then just buy an external storage drive because everything else in this is outdated for the price and is a rip-off.

This deal is good for a regular Joe who wants more storage and not a very old generation model MacBook which is New and direct refurb from Apple. Getting a 8TB SSD will in itself cost you around $500.
I know there are some crappy used M1 eBay deals posted which may have better processors (which more than 75% crowd may not need) which people think is good deal and getting beaten up laptops with 85% battery. Good luck with those and the unrelaiable 3rd party warranties.

Note that the M2 Pro chip has equal or slightly higher performance than the M3 Pro chip because Apple reduced the number of performance cores on the M3.
