Why do people buy stuff like this? Sure it might be cheap, but it's a garbage product. If you don't want to use dig in edging or pay for metal edging, then at least get tabbed edging. This just screams "all your stuff is going to pour under me the first time it rains"

Can you give some link for tabbed edging? "dig in edging", are you referring to DIG brand?

Why can't this be used as dig in edging?

https://www.lowes.com/pd/Expert-E...lsrc=aw.ds Tabbed This has the lip on the bottom so you dig out a trench shove this in there then backfill the trench and the lip holds it in place so the mulch doesn't spill under. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Suncast-...1000573709

I bought a similar product from Lowe's. I had a major issue with it in that I installed it in the morning, then when the sun came over the house in the afternoon, the edging expanded and got wavy and buckled. If I had to do it again, I'd install in the heat to see if it mitigates the expansion and contraction.

Ah thanks. so, tabbed uses stake at the bottom, the edge is buried almost completely while this product is holding above ground with stake high on the ground.
